For just 395 dollars (paid in advance and non-refundable) tourists can now get up close to a Great White shark, a species made famous by the timeless classic JAWS. Great Whites, nature’s most feared Apex predator, have become abundant off the south coast of Nova Scotia, as climate change has resulted in significantly warmer waters. “We think it’ll really appeal to those adrenaline junkies out there.” Said the owner of ‘Touch-A-Shark’ the company offering the unusual holiday, “But, we’re really banking on repeat business, well, some repeat business.” The owner could not be identified for legal reasons. Local businesses have mixed feelings about the project, but one outspoken supporter is ‘Murray’s Limb Retrieval.’
