First Susan Sarandon and Melissa Barrera were dropped by their Hollywood agencies for what were deemed anti-Israeli statements, now beloved Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Christmas icon ‘Woody the Talking Christmas Tree’ has been dropped by the Mic Mac Mall. Since 1983, the beloved icon has been delighting children and adults alike for the entire holiday season… but, after “going too far” with comments about the Israeli-Hamas conflict, according to the malls management, he was let go after saying what many considered pro-Palestinian/anti-Israeli comments to people who stopped to make a Christmas wish. “This conflict has touched people around the world and it stirs ups strong feelings, especially in giant novelty tree ornaments.” Said the Mall Manager, but we felt, after several complaints, it was time to take a break from Woody, we wish him the best.”
