“Did we say 2024? We meant never.” Said a Ford spokesperson between gulps of what looked like a Manhattan with a twist. “We’re taking a wait and see approach to this whole climate thing. I know we were supposed to start EV battery production here in Ontario in 2024, but the energy market is just hemorrhaging cash right now! Mi’right?!” After announcing it would begin climate friendly EV battery production in 2024, Ford has done an about face delaying until 2027... or until they can find a way to re-locate production to a country where they can pay people 3 dollars a day.
